Our traditional hotel at Sophienpark, former Holland Hotel and Hôtel Hollande, is managed by the internationally experienced General Manager Marcus Scholz since mid-September 2022.

BADEN-BADEN AS A HOME OF CHOICE
Marcus Scholz has become a passionate Baden-Baden resident in recent years and enjoys the great location at the foot of the Black Forest as much as the diverse cultural offerings in the city. He will bring all his experience from past renovations to this hotel development and transform the Sophienpark into a full Service Boutique Hotel.
In his last position, Marcus Scholz was General Manager at Roomer’s BadenBaden for five years. Before that, he was Hotel Manager at the Hotel Adlon Kempinski in Berlin and at the Hotel Indonesia Kempinski in Jakarta. Further international stations led the 48-year-old native Berliner to Badrutt’s Palace Hotel St. Moritz and Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park in London, among others.
