NICOLAS PARTY – MUSEUM FRIEDER BURDA
WHEN TOMORROW COMES
You experience an exhibition of the artist’s original murals. In fact, they are only intended for this one exhibition. This may seem strange, but it is part of his art concept.
For the exhibition at the Museum Frieder Burda, the artist will paint large walls of the Museum Frieder Burda with colorful and illusionistic murals. Richard Meier’s architecture, characterized by its white surfaces and clear geometric forms, will be transformed into a colourful, atmospheric spatial experience.
Nicolas Party is influenced by the art history of the Middle Ages, Italian pastel painting and painterly positions of the 19th and 20th centuries.
Autumn Festival
LA GRANDE GARE
18. November – 26. November 2023
Thomas Hengelbrock
Today’s Festspielhaus was built in Baden-Baden’s former train station. The aim of “La Grande Gare” is to hark back to the great times when Baden-Baden was the summer capital of Europe and a year-round meeting place for renowned musicians and poets.
On November 18, British historian Orlando Figes will explain what contribution the railroad made to cultural exchange.
The entire festival program is so extensive and takes place at different locations that you better take a look for yourself.
