An App called “zeigmal”. What makes this digital companion so special? Thanks to augmented reality (AR), past and present seamlessly merge. As you take out your smartphone at historic sites, the app overlays archival images directly onto today’s cityscape – allowing you to see, right on the spot, what the magnificent buildings of the Belle Époque once looked like.
Discovery Mode:
Simply follow your curiosity. Using GPS, the app recognizes your location and automatically provides fascinating background stories whenever you pass a point of interest.

Modern and silent – the new electric carriage
It’s a striking contrast to see the new electric carriage glide almost silently along the Lichtentaler Allee. Combining the classic design of a traditional landau with a modern electric drive, it offers a uniquely elegant way to explore the city. Free from engine noise and completely emission-free, Mr. Neudert chauffeurs his guests in a relaxed manner to Baden-Baden’s most beautiful sights – a clean, stylish alternative for anyone looking to discover Baden-Baden with environmental awareness and flair.
If you wish, you can book the electric carriage exclusively. You’ll be picked up directly at the hotel and welcomed with a glass of sparkling wine.

City Train – Sightseeing with panoramic views
For anyone looking to get to know the city in a compact and comfortable way, the new City Train is a real highlight. This small train is far more than just a means of transport – it’s a rolling observation deck. In about 45 minutes, the route takes you across the UNESCO World Heritage site: past the theatre, along the Lichtentaler Allee, up to the Lichtental Monastery, and back through the lively spa district. Especially for families or as a first orientation after arriving at the hotel, this ride is an absolute must.
